Order Pickers

Specifically adapted trucks to assist operators in picking small quantites of product in a bulk store to satisfy individual customers‘ or high street stores‘ requirements.

Low level units – for picking at ground level. Free-ranging, controlled by the operator.

Medium / high level units can be specified with a rising operator’s cab to allow access to any racking location in a warehouse. Many are automatically guided in very narrow aisles where storage density needs to be optimised.

Pallet Trucks

Reduce the manual labour when lifting and moving loads with a Powered Pallet Truck.

Primarily designed for low lift pallet operations – typically lifting around 150mm, just enough to lift the pallet off the floor. Common in warehouse or factories, loading / unloading of road transport and pallet transfer duties.

1.6 – 3.0 tonnes load capacity. Pedestrian controlled or ride-on platforms for faster operation
over longer distances.

IC Trucks

Powered by an Internal Combustion (IC) engine – fuelled by diesel or LPG. Lifting capacities from 1.4 to 18 tonnes are available.

IC Counterbalance trucks have a tilting mast and carry their load on forks in front of the truck. They have a heavy counterweight that off-sets the weight of the load being carried on the forks.

Used in many applications and are often fitted with attachments for specialist handling tasks.

IC trucks are frequently used for outdoor applications.

E Trucks

Powered by electric battery. Capacities up 2.0t – available in either three or four-wheeled variants. Higher capacity trucks, up to 8 tonnes have a 4-wheel configuration only.

Electric Counterbalance forklifts have a tilting mast and carry their load on forks in front of the truck. They have a heavy counterweight that off-sets the weight of the load being carried.

Used in many applications and often fitted with attachments for specialist handling tasks.

Used mainly in indoors / outdoor applications and work best on fairly smooth surfaces.

Reach Trucks

Primarily designed for use in high-bay, narrow aisle warehouse applications. Reach Trucks ‘reach’ their masts forward to pick up loads, then pull the load back partly within their wheelbase for transport giving them outstanding manoeuvrability

Can carry loads of up to 2.5 tonnes at low levels and can lift lesser loads up to a height of around 14m.

Often equipped with additional assistance systems to support the operator in safe and efficient storage and retrieval of loads at height.

Pallet Stackers

These machines have a mast to enable loads to be stacked and retreived at heights of up to 5.5 metres.

Load capacities: from 600 kg up to 2.0 tonnes. Either pedestrian controlled models or rider trucks for faster operation over longer distances.

The load is lifted by a pair of forks that wrap over load arms which remain at or near ground level to support the truck. This makes them unsuitable for handling pallets with perimeter boards such as the Chep or pool pallets commonly used in the UK. They are, however, ideal for handling Euro pallets and stillages.

Some models – called ‘double stackers’, have independently lifting load arms (known as ‘initial lift‘). This increases ground clearance when ascending slopes and allows the machine to handle 2 different pallets at a time.
